Thank you to everyone who came to our Christmas Celebration Day! It was lovely to see so many of our neighbours, and a few new faces, getting together and enjoying Christmas dinner together. Thanks to generous donations made by local supporters and Islington Council we were able to cater for up to 70 people and provide extra food & essentials to those needing them. 

 

Our Food Hub Coordinator Robin, supported by volunteers Saada & Alison, put together a fabulous Christmas dinner, while our corporate volunteers from Howden Group Holdings kept our guests brimming with refreshments throughout the day and provided the games, entertainments and good cheer to everyone!

We'd like to say an extra special thank you to the Howden Group for taking part and for making a kind donation to the Food Hub which will support our work into 2023. Thanks also to our partners The Big Alliance for making all the arrangements, and to parent organisation the East London Business Alliance (ELBA) for their kind donations of toys, which we were able to distribute to local families. ​
